Armen Ashotyan: Have you seen Aliyev without bodyguards?

How could you compare Ilham Aliyev with Bako Sahakyan, asks the Republican lawmaker Armen Ashotyan, replying to the journalist’s question on Bako Sahakyan being elected as Artsakh President for the third time. He says that it is impossible to see Aliyev walking in Baku without bodyguards, but Bako Sahakyan tours in Stepanakert, he says the photos of tourists can prove it.

As for yesterday’s meeting between Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, the Republican lawmaker says, “Putin met with Trump as well, but it doesn’t mean that Russian-American relations are warm.” He advises journalists not to confuse the diplomatic tool with the outcome.
