MOSCOW, ID — Up in Moscow, one of the men’s basketball players will briefly be away from the team. Arkadiy Mkrtychyan will spend the last part of the summer competing with Team Armenia, in the Fiba Basketball World Cup 2019 European pre-qualifiers.

Team Armenia will play six games, in about three weeks, beginning with Slovakia.

Last season, Mkrtychyan averaged eight points and four rebounds per game.
