The talk will conclude with comments on the issue of Islamized Armenians, currently a hot topic in private and public discourse. Dr. Vahram Shemmassian is Professor and Director of the Armenian Studies Program in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures at the California State University, Northridge.
