PanARMENIAN.Net – 50 small and medium-sized businesses, based in communities of Tavush and Gegharkunik regions will receive coolers from Coca-Cola Hellenic Armenia Company. From now on grocery store owners from Chinari, Movses, Aygepar, Sevkar, Baghanis, Aygehovit, Artanish, Jil, Chambarak and Vahan villages will be able to keep beverages and dairy products, sold in their shops, fresh and cool, in all seasons.

The communities have been selected by Coca-Cola Hellenic Armenia Company business developers, well familiar with the market in the regions, thus the priority was given to small businesses of bordering communities, with limited capacity to purchase coolers themselves.

“Our Company has always prioritized sustainability of the communities we operate in. Over the past two decades, we have put efforts to foster the economic growth in the country, drawing special attention to small and medium-sized businesses. For us it is particularly important to help inhabitants of regions, especially those living in border communities, so that they develop capacity to sustain their businesses and grow further, at the same time supporting their families”, said Christoph Speck, General Manager of Coca-Cola Hellenic Armenia.

Coolers, which previously served to store Company’s products, have been freshly painted and fit to store other products. Distribution to the communities has already started and by the end of the month, all owners will be able to make use of their newly received coolers.

Coca-Cola Hellenic Armenia has operated in the country since 1995. Being part of the Coca-Cola Hellenic Group, which for many years has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, the Company pays special attention to corporate social responsibility projects. Along with community wellbeing, water stewardship and youth development are in the center of attention.
