Armenian gymnastics team is participating in the in the World Cup qualification tournament underway in Paris from September 16-17. As the National Olympic Committee reported, the team headed by head coach Hakob Serobyan comprises Vahagn Davtyan (still rings), Harutyun Merdinyan (pommel horse), and Artur Davtyan (vault).
The tournament is a preparatory competition for the Armenian athletes ahead of the World Championships. According to the report, following the competition, the Armenian team will hold a training camp in Paris and head for Canada on September to participate in the main tournament of the year – the 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships.
