Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan denies that he has already agreed with Serzh Sargsyan that he will be appointed Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister in April 2018.
“In April 2018, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will nominate PM’s candidacy with its coalition partner.”
However, in his words, he still wants to serve Armenia. But he cannot predict what the party will decide on which he joined more than a year ago. Even today, he has not regretted that he is a Republican, a government that, in his words, has inherited a catastrophic economy. “If it was a different party, what would they have to do in case of an economic downturn?”
