The trial on “Sasna Tsrer-1” has started today. At the moment, prosecutor Aram Aramyan is reading the accusatory conclusion.
The first accusatory conclusion referred to Pavel Manukyan. Arayik Khandoyan decided to leave the hall while the reading of the accusatory conclusion. “I do not want to listen to this nonsense.”
Judge Mesrop Makyan urged him to be patient and listen to the conclusion. But Arayik Khandoyan did not obey the judge and, according to the judge’s decision, was removed for the hall for three hours.
Pavel Manukyan also wanted to leave the hall, but the judge said that after hearing the accusatory conclusion he would announce a break. “I accuse him and not he,” said Pavel Manukyan to the judge, referring to the prosecutor. The latter is still reading the accusatory conclusion.
By the way, before reading the indictment, Hayk Alumyan, Smbat Barseghyan’s solicitor, filed a motion to petition the judge to the Constitutional Court, as the members of the Sasna Tsrer rebelled, but the Criminal Code does not envisage a legal regulation on the rebellion.
When prosecutor Petros Petrosyan protested the motion, Pavel Manukyan said: “Why don’t you investigate the April four-day war betrayal? I will bring facts now.”
