Armenian skier Mikayel Mikayelyan finished the 83rd in the 15k freestyle race at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. The Armenian athlete showed a result of 39:01.4, around six seconds behind the winner.

Speaking to sports reporters after his performance, Mikayelyan said he gained a great deal of experience from the PyeongChang 2018, the National Olympic Committee said.

“The Olympics gave me a much-needed experience, which I will naturally use in my future performances. I am not so satisfied with the results I showed. Although I was not in a good shape, I tried my best. Now I am trying to get better prepared for the U20 Junior World Ski Championship,” he added.
