Russian arms trader displays latest weapons at Armenian show

Rosoboronexport arms trader of Rostec State Corporation opened a single Russian display at the international arms show ArmHiTec-2018 in Yerevan.
MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS-DEFENSE/. Rosoboronexport arms trader of Rostec State Corporation opened a single Russian display at the international arms show ArmHiTec-2018 in Yerevan.
Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Vladimir Drozhzhov heads the official Russian delegation while Rosoboronexport marketing department head Vladimir Goncharov leads the united delegation of Rostec and the arms trader.
"Rosoboronexport traditionally pays increased attention to arms shows in CIS countries. They provide an excellent opportunity to offer the best and latest Russian weapons on the markets which are well aware of the history and traditions of Russian arms and show a high technological development level. ArmHiTec experience shows its broad business program promotes military-technical cooperation and good-neighborly relations between Russia and Armenia," Goncharov said.
The arms trader organized a single Russian display at the show. Foreign visitors can see over 200 samples of military products.
BTR-82A armored personnel carrier, BMPT tank-support vehicle, special armored VPK-233136 automobiles, Typhoon-K family vehicles, antitank Khrisantema-S and Metis-M1 weapons, as well as Kalashnikov rifles and Pecheneg machinegun are expected to have a major export potential.
Rosoboronexport also provided information about aircraft and helicopters for export. They include multirole Su-30MK and Su-30 fighter jets, Il-76MD-90A airlifter, Yak-130 training aircraft, Mi-28NE and Ka-52 helicopter gunships, Mi-171Sh and Mi-35M combat-transport helicopters.
The Russian delegation will meet counterparts from Armenia and other countries represented at ArmHiTec-2018.
