Absolute Sports Academy returns from Armenian exposure trip on a triumphant note

This double triumph is ASA's second international win after they had earlier won the Dubai Super Cup in 2016 with its U15 team.

The Absolute Sports Academy (ASA) returned on a triumphant note from their exposure trip to Armenia after both their teams won the titles in their respective categories at the 2018 Vanadzor Summer Cup. The tournament was held in the Armenian capital of Yerevan from the 7th to the 13th of July.
The U10 team got off the blocks with a 7-4 win over Alashkert FC in the first round before defeating Artsvanist Fut Academia 8-5 in the next game. The final fixture saw ASA fight it out for the title with Junior International Academia. A thrilling encounter ensued and finally ASA lifted the trophy after winning 4-1 on penalties, after a 6-6 draw in normal time. ASA's Justin Fernandes was chosen as the best forward for his goalscoring exploits.
ASA showed off their goalscoring skills in the U14 category as well, opening their campaign with a 4-1 win over Alashkert FC. This was followed by a tight match with Sis Kilikia, which ended in a narrow 3-2 triumph for ASA. Finally, the icing on the cake came in the third and final match, during which ASA thrashed Onor 5-1 to claim the title. After a series of top performances, Shyansu Bunsal of ASA was adjudged as the best player.
