Before the government session, head of the SIS Sasun Khachatryan touched upon the topic of whether there will be an interview with the head of the investigation group of March 1 case Vahagn Harutyunyan: “If there is a necessity in a criminal case, if he is considered guilty, he will certainly be held accountable.”
He noted that body conducting the proceedings will decide whether to videotape Robert Kocharyan’s interrogation: “The video is part of the criminal case. If it is even recorded, it does not mean that it will be publicized. It will be attached to the criminal case. Yes, we have a decision to record it.”
assured him To the question why the name of the new head of the March 1 case is kept secret, Sasun Khachatryan assured that it is not a secret: “He is one of our investigators. The name is not disclosed to avoid excessive attention.”
The SIS Head did not answer whether Robert Kocharyan is going to the interrogation today, and nor he said who is going to interview the 2nd President.
