“The situation is quite interesting and to say that the authorities do not have experience will be very mild. During latest rally, for example, it was stated that in Armenia, a new system of state governance has been created, and the revolutionary square has been declared the supreme authority. I’m not joking, I’m quoting,” said Robert Kocharyan to a Russian TV channel.

According to him, the new authorities of Armenia simply do not understand what the mechanism of the state governance is.

“It is announced that the government is accountable for that square. For example, I was frankly thinking that the government is accountable to the National Assembly. What is happening in Armenia is irrelevant populism, the consequences of which, as it seems to me, will hinder the development of the country for a long time,” Kocharyan said.

He noted that there is a revolutionary euphoria that cannot last long.

And all this worries Kocharyan and that is why he came back to politics again.
