RA Minister: There is great potential in Armenian-Iranian relations to bring economic ties to the level of political interaction

18. ArmInfo, Alexander Avanesov. In the Armenian-Iranian relations there is a great potential for bringing economic ties to the level of political interaction. This was the day before, during the meeting with the members of the Mejlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran representing the Iran- Armenia parliamentary friendship group, RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Artsvik Minasyan stated. According to him, the ministry's press service reports, the visit of the Iranian deputies to Armenia will help in resolving many issues. The Minister presented the guests the economic reforms in Armenia. The head of the parliamentary friendship group, Ramazan Ali Sobanifar, expressing gratitude for the reception, presented a number of issues that are of interest to Iranian entrepreneurs. In particular, we are talking about the full-scale use of the free economic zone "Meghri", energy, tourism, freight traffic, investments, etc.

During the meeting, the parties once again confirmed their intention to translate into practice all the issues discussed and carry out consistent work to fulfill their commitments.
