YEREVAN, November 5. /ARKA/. During a working visit today to Armenia’s second-largest town of Gyumri President Armen Sarkissian went to see a company run by the Armenian Society of the Blind that produces natural oil paints.
According to the presidential press service, Sarkissian spoke to members of the association and other employees and was told about the technologies used by the company and its expansion programs.
The presidential press service said this project is also of social importance, since its implementation is creating new jobs for people with disabilities. The President donated 6 million drams (about $12.4 thousand) to the company to help its expansion program.
The society members presented a picture painted with the colors of their company to the president, who promised to hang it in the presidential residence. -0-
