ArmInfo. In the capital of Armenia, Yerevan, a fully renovated Children and Youth Creative Center N3 was opened. The opening ceremony of the center was attended by acting Minister of Nature Protection Erik Grigoryan, Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan, UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia Shombi Sharp and other officials.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia, a total of 400 million drams were invested in the project, of which 87.5% were invested by the Yerevan municipality and the rest by the Green Climate Fund. The center offers sports and art services for 800 pupils. The visitors engaged in 34 groups now have the opportunity to attend a renovated, safe, warm and bright building. Acting RA Minister of Nature Protection Erik Grigoryan, congratulating the pupils and teachers of the center, expressed confidence that even more children will be able to play sports and art in new, good conditions. He stressed that the project was made possible thanks to the effective cooperation of the ministry, the Yerevan Municipality and the UN Development Program, the efforts of which had implemented the program using the energy efficiency component. Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan in his speech noted that the municipality will continue to create opportunities for the formation of a healthy lifestyle and a festive mood for the younger generation.
