YEREVAN. – The parliamentary debates over these few days showed the important attention which the MPs show toward human rights issues, and their great readiness to contribute to their resolutions.

The Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, noted the above-said in a statement.

“I state my full willingness to a joint work with all the deputies (…) of the [new Armenian] parliament, [and] for the benefit of the continued strengthening of the human rights protection system and the undisrupted improvement of legislation in our country,” the statement also reads, in part.
