Armenia to take a 10-men team to Takhti Cup

Head coach of the team Habetnak Kurghinyan has told Mediamax Sport that Armenia will have ten representatives in the tournament: Vaghinak Matevosyan (57 kg), Vazgen Tevanyan (65 kg), Gevorg Mkheyan (70 kg), Varuzhan Kajoyan and Khachatur Papikyan (74 kg), Grigor Grigoryan (79 kg), Hovhannes Mkhitaryan (86 kg), Sargis Hovsepyan (92 kg), Arman Mkrtchyan (97 kg) and Andranik Galstyan (125 kg).

According to Kurghinyan, the team includes junior wrestlers who are also part of the U23 team. The young athletes will start preparing for the European Championship in Serbia after the Takhti Cup ends.
