“I am convinced that we have significant potential to strengthen and develop partner relations between the two countries, especially in education sector,” Minister Harutyunyan said.
Attaching importance to collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Arayik Harutyunyan noted that owing to the ongoing program, around 100 public schools in different marzes of Armenia are being brought into compliance with standards for children with special needs.
“I was glad to explore our strong cooperation in sector of education, particularly, in enhanced learning of English language, inclusive education and within the frames of academic exchange programs,” U.S. Ambassador said.
The sides touched upon teaching English language, trainings for English language teachers, provision of seismic resistance in schools and a number of other issues regarding the development of Armenian-American cooperation.
