“As the minister of defense, I state we have reformulated the “Territories for peace” approach to “New war-new territories” approach,” Armenia’s defense minister Davit Tonoyan stated on Friday in New York at a meeting with the members of the Armenian community.
As Voice of America reports, the minister has stressed that nothing will be conceded [in the NK conflict settlement], and the most feasible option is through mutual compromises.
“We will get rid of defensive stance and will increase the number of military units capable to transfer military operations in the territory of the adversary,” Minister Tonoyan is quoted by the source.
To remind, Minister Tonoyan is paying a working visit to the United States to attend the UN Peacekeeping Ministerial Conference.
