The electricity generation at solar power plants grows by 3.3 times in first trimester

A total of 2.3 million kilowatt-hours of electricity were generated in Armenia in January-March 2019, up by 3.3 times to compare with productions volumes of the same period in 2018, Armenia's National Statistical Service (NSS) reported.

According to the NSS figures, in January-March 2018 the electricity generation at solar power plants amounted to 0.7 million kilowatt-hours,

in 2018 the electricity generation at solar power plants grew by 12.8 times against the volumens of 2017, amounting to 5.1 million kilowatt-hours.
