ArmInfo. My nomination as a judge of  the Constitutional Court was clearly a political decision. Vahe  Grigoryan, a lawyer and candidate for the position of a judge of the  Constitutional Court, said this on June 13 after meeting with the MPs   of the My Step faction.  

Grigorian said that if he is elected, he  will be able to cooperate successfully both with the authorities and  with the opposition. "We were acquainted with representatives of the  ruling bloc long before they became power. We helped each other on  many issues, so it's logical that they would like to see me in this  position. I think they will vote in favor," he stressed.  As for the  Prime Minister's appeal to block the entrances and exits of the  buildings of the courts, Grigoryan said that he sees nothing illegal  in this. "This is not my workstyle, but everything is within the law.  If at the call of a government representative it is possible to exert  pressure on the judiciary, then there are serious concerns about the  competence of this authority. It's necessary to focus on this," he  stressed.
