Armenian-American musician Sebu Simonian is planning to present works by Komitas in English. He hopes to complete the project within the coming months.

Speaking to Public Radio of Armenia the Capital Cities founder confessed to be a big fan of Komitas.

“I’m a fan of Komitas, and I’m now trying to study his music, to get an inspiration from his melodies to compose new songs,” Sebu said.

He is trying to translate some of the songs to record them. Simonian also pledges to release new songs in Armenian.

He also intends to continue cooperation with System Of A Down frontman Serj Tankian.
