Non-governmental organizations and Nikol Pashinyan met and discussed several issues, but they agreed that the discussion has to be closed. This is what political scientist Stepan Danielyan wrote on his Facebook page.
“Non-governmental organizations and Nikol Pashinyan met and discussed several issues, but they agreed that the discussion had to be closed and that their promises must not be made public.
They certainly didn’t discuss military secrets.
This sparks many questions.
Questions for Nikol:
-What are you hiding from the proud citizens of Armenia?
-What happened to direct democracy?
-Is the principle of public oversight no longer applicable?
Question for NGOs:
-Why were you complaining about closed discussions in the past and doing the same now? Do you feel you are part of the government and want to distinguish yourselves from others?
Question for proud citizens:
-What happened to your pride when people secretly discuss issues concerning you and look at you as mentally retarded people whom they can’t trust to solve public issues?” he noted.
