Car race in support of Amulsar heading to Yerevan from Jermuk

A car race in support of Amulsar kicked off from Jermuk to Yerevan on Saturday. The organizers are Jermuk residents and environmentalists, who protest against the possible operation of the gold mine, claiming the project would cause a serious danger to the environment.

As the organizers of the initiative informed, the residents of Jermuk and nearby settlements have joined the race.

To remind, “Amulsar without mine” initiative group plans three protest marches today in different locations of capital Yerevan. The marches will be concluded at Liberty square at 20:00.
