I don’t rule out the fact that our counterparts of the political opposition join our initiative during the discussions. This is what Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan told reporters at the National Assembly today, touching upon the agenda for the special parliamentary session to be held on February 6.

He stated that this bill is aimed at resolving the judicial crisis in Armenia and that the crisis will be solved.

When told that President of the Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan has declared that he won’t give up and will fight until the end, Alen Simonyan said the following: “I don’t know how far he’s going to go, but I can say that based on his recent interview, he is even ready to do everything possible to make sure the crisis is resolved to his benefit. However, unfortunately, not only him, but also many others are in a situation where there are people who are telling them that they can bring back the past in some way.”
