Armenian famous soprano Hasmik Papian will perform with Armenian State Symphony Orchestra (ASSO) in Yerevan. The concert will take place at Aram Khachatryan Hall on March 19, the State Symphony Orchestra reported in a release adding the programme features arias and duets from works of Western European composers.
The evening will feature young singers and soloist of the opera programme – Elen Yeghiazaryan (Soprano), Tigran Hakobyan (tenor), Navasard Hakobyan (baritone), soloists Armine Vardanyan (soprano), Narek Qochinyan (bass) among them. The concert will be conducted by artistic director and principal conductor of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra,
“I cannot describe my happiness about the opportunity to introduce young talented singers. In Armenia with many challenges for singers a promising generation of opera singers is coming up which speaks of the future of our country. We have chosen five of them with the Symphony Orchestra this time and look forward to meeting you,” Papian said.
It is noted that the concert will talk place with the support of Armenian ministry of education ,science, culture and sort.
