ArmInfo. On his Facebook page,Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan shared his further actions egarding people who wish to obtain Armenian citizenship. To this end, he turned to President Armen Sarkissian with a request to grant  citizenship of the Republic of Armenia to 1698 people.

According to Tigran Avinyan, it is a great honor to see so many people who want to be part of our country. "The fact that such a number of  people expresses a desire to become citizens of the Republic of  Armenia, thereby becoming a part of Armenian statehood, inspires and  gives additional strength to carry out our work with even greater  responsibility and efforts," Tigran Avinyan wrote on his Facebook  page, highly appreciating the civil impulse of those people.
