ArmInfo.  Head of the "My Step"  parliamentary faction Lilith Makunts from the rostrum of the  parliament again referred to the incident took place in the National  Assembly on May 8.

Makunts again condemned the incident. <We condemn the fact that  representatives of the faction succumbed to provocation, and a brawl  ensued between the MPs. We also condemn the consistent provocation of  conflicts in parliament>, said the head of the faction. The head of  the faction noted that everything that happened should have political  consequences. If Edmon Marukyan lays down his mandate, Sasun  Mikayelyan will do the same. Moreover, MPs Artak Manukyan and Vahe  Galumyan are also ready to lay down their mandates, but under the  condition that the MPs from Bright Armenia Hrant Ayvazyan and Sarkis  Aleksanyan will lay down their mandates. We are waiting for the  reaction of the MPs from "Bright Armenia", concluded Makunts.

It should be noted that the work of the National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia on May 8 was interrupted due to the conflict that  arose between head of the Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan and  MP from the My Step faction Sasun Mikayelyan. Other members of  parliament were involved in the assault. Clarification of relations  with the participation of parliamentarians continued during the  announced break, after which the conflicting parties finally  dispersed.
