Aysor, Armenia

Gazprom Armenia has submitted petition to the Public Services Regulatory Commission which will discuss it.

“We continue political consultations over the gas issue,” Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference today, asked about gas issue.

“Unfortunately, as of the moment I cannot say any concrete thing, but we must register that in condition of collapse of the markets of energy bearers and in conditions of the decline of oil price we may expect from our strategic partner Russia not to discuss the raise of gas price now, taking into consideration the situation with coronavirus and the issues it caused,” he said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
