ArmInfo. The cartridge cases of those who shot were not found, and we have no way to identify and find the weapon from which the shots were fired from the cartridges. The Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a press  conference, referring to the events of March 1, 2008 in Armenia.

When asked about who killed 10 innocent victims, during the events of  March 1, 2008, the prime minister noted that many details of the case  were disclosed. <The cartridge cases were replaced in due time by the  head of the investigation team investigating the case; he is now on  the wanted list. Let him tell you what he did with these cartridges,  perhaps he knows the names and surnames of the persons firing the  shots. The investigation in this case should continue>, Pashinyan  said.

The Prime Minister emphasized that all efforts should be made and  this person should be returned to Armenia.  <This is not easy, but  this is the path to follow. By and large, it is clear who organized  this murder. Part of the criminal case was sent to the court, during  the trial, I hope that answers to most questions will be answered>,  Pashinyan said.

The Prime Minister also said that perhaps there is also evidence that  will forever be lost. <If these cartrige cases were melted, can you  imagine what this could mean?>, Pashinyan said.

It should be noted that as a result of clashes at opposition rallies  that followed the 2008 presidential election in Armenia, in which  Serzh Sargsyan won de jure, 10 people died on March 1. The  investigation is still ongoing. The second president of Armenia,  Robert Kocharian, and a number of senior officials of the time are  undergoing a case on charges of overthrowing the constitutional  order. –

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
