Last year was very active for Armenia in terms of maintaining high-level contacts and multilateral cooperation with the countries of the Asia-Pacific region, FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said during Thursday's debates on the 2019 state budget performance report.
The FM considered cooperation with China, India, and Japan to be especially important.
“We have tangible results in terms of cooperation with these countries,” Mnatsakanyan noted.
According to the minister, the development of relations with the countries of the Middle East is of considerable importance for Armenia. He noted that political processes and events taking place in this region are included in the Armenian interests.
“We have officially responded to the situation on Syria. The Armenian MFA has also recently issued an official statement on Libya,” Mnatsakanyan added.
