The PM fell into a mental breakdown after the Prosperous Armenia party statement: it was an extremely important statement that the Nagorno-Karabakh issue can be resolved through the international recognition of Artsakh, ex-head of the National Security Service, politician David Shahnazaryan told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

“It is very important that the second largest faction of the National Assembly – which I do not consider a political body – issued an extremely important statement, following which the authorities and the Prime Minister fell into such mental distress. It was not a demand for resignation; it was much more important that Prosperous Armenia said that the international recognition of Artsakh is the solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. This was an extremely important statement. If you remember, I always raised this question. For example, in December 2018, I made a special appeal and said that 2019 should be the year of international recognition of Artsakh for all Armenians. This is a very serious qualitative change, and I hope that Prosperous Armenia will continue to promote its thesis in the National Assembly as well," he noted.

David Shahnazaryan expressed confidence that now the whole political field of Armenia should be determined on this issue.

According to him, to maintain power, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan might even divulge state secrets from the NSS.

“I have already said that he is in a state of severe mental distress," he added.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
