A heated situation reigned in the Armenian government on Friday, Zhokhovurd newspaper reported referring to its own sources in the Cabinet.

“The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan presented to the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan a report on the work done by his department.

According to our information, Pashinyan showed that Harutyunyan did not fulfill the work connected to the strategy of the ministry, with changes in the educational field. The main program of the minister concerned the repair work of schools and educational institutions, and everyone had the impression that the report concerned urban planning and not the education system," the newspaper noted.

According to the source, Pashinyan said that the discussion will continue next week so that the report is better prepared.
