Naira Zohrabyan accused the Prosecutor General of political order and reminded the eternal truth that nothing lasts forever

Arminfo, Armenia

ArmInfo.Naira Zohrabyan accused the Prosecutor General of the political order and reminded the eternal truth that nothing lasts forever.

As the Prosperous Armenia faction member Naira Zagrabyan said from  the rostrum of the parliament, the Prosecutor General, who has  petitioned for depriving Tsarukyan's immunity,  is carrying out a  political order. <At one time, you withdrew the request for the  deprivation of the inviolability of the head of the Yelk faction,  Nikol Pashinyan. You withdrew the motion at the request of the Deputy  Prime Minister. Today you confirmed that you are fulfilling the  political order of the new government,> the lawmaker emphasized.   Zohrabyan said that Prosecutor General Arthur Davtyan proved by his  actions that he would carry out any orders of any government. <When  presenting the case file, you failed to provide the factual evidence  testifying against Gagik Tsarukyan. There is no evidence that  Tsarukyan personally gave someone a bribe. None of the people who are  allegedly suspected of distributing bribes is responsible. As a  politician and prosecutor general, you failed today.  You are a bad  prosecutor, you are a bad lawyer>, the MP noted.

<You also will not be able to fabricate a case in my regard. The  search in my office at the headquarters of the PAP has just ended. I  can be blamed for many things, but I never gave anyone a bribe. I  will direct everything that is happening here to all European  agencies, as they are concerned about the situation. The previous  authorities at least tried to find a legal justification when they  fabricated political affairs. The document that you presented here is  just a piece of paper, this is not evidence. It's a shame> -  concluded Zohrabyan.  According to her, no one is eternal, not a  single political force is eternal. You will be held responsible for  your actions>, the lawmaker concluded.

Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan, in turn, stated that all his  actions were lawful and open.  <Tell me, what does all this have to  do with this petition?>, wondered the Prosecutor General, answering  the charges related to the case two years ago. The Prosecutor General  said that throughout his career he had never felt shame. <Any person  who commits a crime must be prosecuted. I always carried out all my  actions in accordance with the letter of the law>, – concluded the  Prosecutor General.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
