YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: "The authorities have decided to do that work very quickly, in the coming week, and ‘liquidate’ the CC [Constitutional Court] together with [CC president] Hrayr Tovmasyan. This week, when they were saying that we must be present at the vote to give [opposition Prosperous Armenia Party leader, and business tycoon Gagik] Tsarukyan to the prosecutor, they were notifying that next week, too, we should be present—like one man—at the vote on the issue of the CC," our [ruling bloc] My Step source said.
By the way, there are very key issues in the package related to the CC, but the most important one is not the decisions to be made on the composition of the CC, but the norm of bypassing the CC. The authorities want again, like the referendum law, not to send the adopted bills to the CC, which is a constitutional norm; they want to pass a bill in that regard as well. However, they face "but" again; that draft must also be sent to the CC.
