Private Khachik Baghdasaryan (born in 2001) who died at the hospital yesterday was from Arteni village of Aragatsotn Province of Armenia and had traveled from the Russian Federation to serve in the army, as head of Arteni village Gegham Khlghatyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Asked if the serviceman had had any disease before going to the army, Khlghatyan said the boy was healthy. He also said the serviceman’s parents and sister have already arrived from the Russian Federation and added that Khachik was the only son.
As reported earlier, Private Khachik Baghdasaryan (born in 2001), a conscript of the Armed Forces of Armenia, lost consciousness in his military unit on Friday, at around 3pm.
He was taken to the Ministry of Defense Central Clinical Military Hospital in Yerevan, but his life could not be saved.
