The defense of second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan has issued the following statement:

“The Yerevan court of general jurisdiction partially granted the motion of the attorneys to lift the attachment imposed on the assets and bank accounts of second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan.

According to the judicial act, there will still be attachment imposed on the house and AMD 235,000,000 of Robert Kocharyan.

This house was granted to Robert Kocharyan by the government as a former president, and the amount transferred to the bank accounts is the amount transferred by Russia’s AFK Sistema, the independent director of which is Robert Kocharyan, and from other legitimate sources, the certifying documents of which are part of the case.”
