An emergency occurred Wednesday in Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, shamshyan.com reported.
Police received a call from the Chambarak town hospital informing that they had admitted a person with a diagnosis of closed-head trauma.
The police found out that the patient was Argishti K., 39, a Chambarak resident who had suffered injuries the same day after a landmine exploded in the border area of Vahan village, near the military posts, and while he was traveling on a vehicle.
It was found out that Argishti G. serves in a military unit as a contract soldier, and therefore this information was passed to the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense, and the Military Police officers of Chambarak arrived at the scene.
