I’m afraid that the last and most devastating emigration will begin, and Armenians will ‘emigrate’ from each other. This is what former Ambassador of Armenia to the Holy See Mikayel Minasyan wrote on his Facebook page, adding the following:
“Since the late 19th century, Armenians would migrate from the Ottoman Empire so that they could save themselves.
Since the mid-20th century and leading to our days, Armenians would emigrate from the wars in the Middle East.
Since 1988, Armenians had been ‘emigrating’ from the Azerbaijani atrocities in order to not be murdered.
Between 1991 and 1996, Armenians would emigrate because of the war and crisis.
In the 2000s, Armenians were migrating from Armenia to live a better life.
In 2021, I’m afraid that
