CivilNet: Harnessing Wind Power in Armenia

CivilNet’s team met with Vruyr Ayvazyan, who is part of a team constructing wind power plants in Armenia. Although Armenia has a large solar energy potential, Vruyr explains that wind energy potential is also substantial. In the northern Lori region, one of the country’s first wind power plants has been constructed.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered.
