On 10 and 11 June 2021, two online workshop sessions were organized to review the hate speech map in Armenia. Around 20 representatives from the state institutions and NGOs participated in the workshop and discussed the actions to be prioritised in the Armenia context on combating hate speech, and also their own co-operation and co-ordination on combating hate speech in Armenia.
Based on these contributions, the hate speech map will be modified and in September it will be available for the wider public.
The workshop is part of the project “Strengthening access to justice for victims of discrimination, hate crime and hate speech in the Eastern Partnership”, funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in the framework of the Partnership for Good Governance II .
