Turkey's first Armenian sub-governor expected to take office

For the first time, a person from Turkey's Armenian community will become a sub-governor, Agos newspaper reported.
Berk Acar passed all the exams to become a sub-governor and is expected to be appointed to a district in the coming period, according to Agos.
Districts are the second-largest administrative zones in Turkey. The country has 81 provinces and 519 districts. (EMK/VK)
