In the mid-2000s, a pair of class-action settlements awarded more than $37 million to the descendants of some of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. But an investigation by the Los Angeles Times found that corruption and fraud prevented many people entitled to those payments from ever receiving a dime. Valley Edition host Kathleen Schock spoke with the journalists behind that investigation, Harriet Ryan and Matt Hamilton.
