Armenian foreign ministry highlights critical role of free, objective coverage of blockade against Azeri propaganda

YEREVAN, AUGUST 10, ARMENPRESS. The free and objective coverage of the inhumane blockade of Lachin Corridor and the real goal of Azerbaijan plays a critical role against Azerbaijan’s continuous propaganda, Armenian foreign ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan has said.

Badalyan posted the international media coverage on the report by Luis Moreno Ocampo, the former chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court who warned that Azerbaijan’s blockade of Lachin Corridor constitutes genocide.

“Int’l media writing about worsening humanitarian crisis in Nagorno Karabakh, also with reference to conclusions by former ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampo. Free & objective coverage of inhuman blockade of Lachin Corridor & of Azerbaijan’s real goal play critical role against AZ continuous propaganda,” Badalyan said on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
