Armenia and Saudi Arabia have officially established diplomatic relations, the Armenian Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday. This landmark decision is driven by a mutual intent to bolster bilateral relations, expand cooperation, and contribute to international security and peace. The formalization of these ties took place in Abu Dhabi, where Armenian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Karen L. Grigoryan and his Saudi counterpart, Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Angari, signed the protocol.
