OSKANYAN TO MEET NATO SECRETARY

Benita Ferero-Valdner, responsible in Europe for relations with
Europe’s new neighboring countries, will meet with foreign minister
Vardan Oskanyan and foreign ministers from member countries on
September 3. The meeting of ministers is titled "Working together:
strengthening the politics of Europe’s neighbors."
The purpose of the meeting of 16 ministers of the European Union’s new
neighboring countries is the promotion of free trade in the region,
the security of energy sources, and the struggle concerning climate
change. In the framework of the convention, Oskanyan will have parallel
meetings. On September 4, while in Brussels, he will meet with the
general secretary of NATO.
