BAKU, SEPTEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS: Russia’s ambassador to Azerbaijan,
Vasily Istratov, said yesterday (September 4) that the OSCE Minsk Group
cochairmen from Russia, France and the USA have developed a set of
‘comprehensive’ proposals to help Armenia and Azerbaijan hammer out
a peace agreement to end their dispute over Nagorno-Karabakh.

The Russian diplomat said these proposals were formulated and the
turn was for the sides to agree upon them.

It emerged September 4 that the peace brokers from the Minsk Group
will visit Armenia and Azerbaijan next week in yet another attempt
to salvage the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. The news came after
separate meetings of Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers with
the cochairmen in Brussels.
