ARMENIA’S PRESIDENT GETS ACQUAINTED WITH PROGRAMS IMPLEMENTED IN RURAL ECONOMY

YEREVAN, September 11. /ARKA/. Armenia’s President got acquainted
with programs implemented in the rural economy. The President’s
press service reported that during today’s task meeting President
Robert Kocharyan and Agriculture Minister David Lokyan discussed the
issues of programs implemented in the rural economy and current work
of the Ministry.

First of all, the President was interested in African fever and
measures taken to overcome it. Lokyan said that everything is done
to prevent the spreading of the infection.

Kocharyan paid special attention to the implementation of seed growing
and livestock breeding.

They also touched upon the issue of backing the rural economy in the
coming year and the distribution.

They also discussed the questions connected with the implementation
of agricultural production and work of processing enterprises.
