SLOVAKIAN, ARMENIAN, KARABAKHI ENTREPRENEURS TO GATHER IN YEREVAN FOR BUSINESS FORUM

YEREVAN, September 13. /ARKA/. The fifth international business forum
is to be held on October 18 to 22 in Yerevan. Slovakian, Armenian
and Karabakh entrepreneurs will attend the event.

Ashot Grigoryan, the head of Armenian community in Slovakia and the
representative of Armenian organizations in Europe, said Thursday at
a news conference that repr6esentatives of IT, energy and financial
sectors of the three countries will take part in the forum.

In particular, representatives of Slovakian state-run Bank
Import-Export are expected to attend the event.

"The aim of the event is to present Armenia’s and Karabakh’s capacity
to investors for spurring investment in these countries", he said.

Grigoryan added that previous four forums had produced visible results.

Trade turnover between Armenia and Slovakia has doubled over a period
between January and July 2007 reaching $4 million by late July.

Exports from Armenia to Slovakia grew $6.3thnd and imports brought
from Slovakia rose 108.7% to $3.96mln.
