The Wall Street Journal called on the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to
prevent the vote on the Armenian Genocide Resolution.
The newspaper advises the American Congressmen to "leave the history
to historians." US politicians must not interfere with this painful
chapter of the Ottoman times. Before giving evaluation to the history
of people living in distant countries the lawmakers have to think
that eh gambles with history may hurt the political interests of
the US. Politicians are paid to think about future, not the past,"
the paper wrote.
